Massage therapy is the assessment and manipulation of soft tissues and joints of the body to affect a therapeutic response in the treatment and prevention of physical dysfunction.
It can be preventative or restorative, helping to maintain, rehabilitate and relieve pain. Massage therapy has firmly established its role as a clinically-oriented health option used to alleviate soft tissue discomfort associated with everyday stress, muscular overuse and many chronic pain syndromes.
If employed early enough after accidents involving trauma or injury, massage therapy can greatly reduce the development of painful muscular patterning.
The therapeutic process is a partnership between client and therapist, working together towards common and realistic goals.

Ultrasound is a therapeutic treatment using high-frequency sound waves administered in the region of soft tissue injuries, vibrations which penetrate tissues deep in the body, creating a heat response, increasing blood flow, relaxes muscle spasms and help breakdown and disperse unhealthy calcium and other hard tissue accumulations thus speeding the healing process.
Electrotherapy is when electrical current is utilized at the site of soft tissue injury especially muscles via TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation), EMS (electro-muscle stimulation) or IFC (interferential current). Its uses include pain management, stimulating musculature and increase local blood flow and reduction of edema.
Rehabilitation Exercises
